Finding Support for Your Grassroots Movement 🌿
How we can leverage our strengths and skills to build movements that move us forward
As we all continue to navigate this difficult season of life I am striving to remain dedicated to showing up in all the ways I can and know how to. As I’ve navigated career transition I’ve sat with how I can utilize the skills I have acquired throughout my tenure to support community-based organizations and grassroots movements dedicated to collective liberation and equity.

I’ve grappled a lot lately with pivoting to heart-centered community-driven work after years of working in corporate tech landscapes, especially as I struggle with my own financial setbacks. It’s been disheartening but what’s pushing me forward is the hope that everything I’ve learned up until this point can be catalyst for positive change in a world that so desperately needs it. So I’ve decided to use this platform to share some of my professional insights in PR, strategic communications and community organizing to help those out there doing the work.
I will be periodically sharing these insights in the coming weeks so if you’re a nonprofit leader, organizer or advocate subscribe and stay tuned for that but for now I want to share a free resource I created for those leading social justice movements but who may lack the capacity to bring on a full PR or communications team.
Enter The Social Justice Campaign Toolkit, your all-in-one guide to strategic, community-centered organizing.
This FREE toolkit includes:
✅ A press release template
✅ Customizable pitch email templates (media, partners, community, volunteers, influencers)
✅ A campaign calendar (Google Sheets)
✅ Messaging + strategy guidance
✅ Social media caption formulas
If you are leading nonprofit teams or in the process of developing campaigns and movements and could use support with the communications and outreach aspects of this work, then I encourage you to download the toolkit and consider reaching out to me if you’re in need of temporary, part-time or full-time contract support.
Despite how it may appear, there are many of us out here ready and willing to do the work. I hope we continue to expand our networks and continue to push forward to fight for the nation and the world we all deserve. One where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and humanity!
Take care,
